NAB is Formed

1922

Eugene F. McDonald Jr. founded and the first president of the National Association of Radio Broadcasters is formed. Holds first organized meeting in Chicago with 16 radio stations present. In 1958 they shortened their name to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB)
