Rosing Patent for Synchronization

With college student Vladimir Zworykin as his assistant, Boris Rosing of Russia achieves his first distant transmission of images and receives the Gold Medal of the Russian Technical Society. Also this year, Rosing develops a system combining a cathode ray tube with a Nipkow disc.
