Wartime Hours

“Broadcasting” magazine reports that the minimum program time required of TV stations has been cut from fifteen hours to four hours a week during the war. The NBC commercial TV schedule is cancelled. Television continues to be broadcast in the US on a limited basis, however, the BBC halts broadcasting right in the middle of a Mickey Mouse cartoon.
